COACHING

Dartmouth College Psychology/pre-med; Harvard Law School JD; Interfaith Minister. Worked as caseworker with foster kids in MA, English teacher for college students in China, law clerk for appellate division judge in NY, AVID tutor for 6th to 12th graders in WI, and academic coach for executive function skills at STARS in ME. Raised three kids and cared for a parent with Alzheimer’s disease. Coached middle school tournament teams and boxing for people with Parkinson’s Disease. These days, I offer this varied blend of experience to tutor students at all levels, walking with them and their families through today’s unique challenges with the goal of celebrating the good parts and working through the difficult parts, together.

The stress that results makes it hard to show up in the ways that we want to: with confidence, clarity, and consistency. I’ve learned firsthand that not only is it essential to step away from our caregiving roles to restore and reset, it also helps to share our experience with others, thus this blog (click!):
